Think it will be better when they finally make international breaks longer and reduce the frequency of them too, could play out a group stage in one break... could be exciting.
That's not a bad idea. There are currently four in-season international breaks (I think?) that are effectively two weeks each; compress that to two three-week breaks, one in autumn, one in early spring. You could play the four games of a group stage over the course of 17-18 days, it would mean less travel for players from outside Europe, and the time 'saved' could be used to provide a proper winter break. Think you've just earned yourself a £5m retirement package.
The players don't seem to agree. A Croatian player cried when England scored late and beat them.not watched any of them so I voted bad. Just not interested in them. They are still friendlies.
