Only example I can think is Leon Cort, we got promoted from D3 and then went and signed a centre back from a bottom half side in the same division. Don't remember it being as negative as about Adebola (mainly because we knew naff all about Cort) but he won the fans round until his celebration for Palace.

okey dokey so we can expect Adebola to be announced in the near future then.. I'll only judge him on his performances but I certainly am surprised. If Jimmy & Oli had been sorted I suspect we wouldn't be looking at Adebola. Since he's 35 surely we won't offer more than a one-year contract?

You'd certainly hope that it's a one year deal, though I fear that even that's probably about a year too long.

Cheers Scooter. Let's hope, this time, it's duff info.

Anyway, if he comes in, I think he is there to do a specific job and might be used sparingly to soften up defences before we unleash Maclean off he bench.

If he doesn't, rest assured i will be the first on here to hold my hands up and take the flak. Thing is, the person I know usually sees the players and is a City season ticket holder, so can normally recognise the players when they come in.

We'll see I guess. We need JozyJozyJozy on here!
