Celtic have parted company with manager Wilfried Nancy, with Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Rangers his sixth loss in just eight matches.

The 48-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Scottish champions after the conclusion of the Major League Soccer season with Columbus Crew and took charge on 4 December.

But, having won seven of their eight games under interim manager Martin O'Neill, Celtic's form slumped dramatically under Nancy.

No longer Nancy's Bhoys.

Incredible how badly he's done really.

You'd imagine any half decent manager could win 50% of Celtic's games with the players they've got.

He got a tune out of them, players respect him. They never put an ounce of effort in for the French Noncey,he was toast from day one.
Got to say Ric. I watched some to the Old Firm game. The standard from both sides was appalling. Full of failed larkers from the EFL. Stand out performance appeared to be Mikey Moore. A 18 year old kid from that London!!

Poor game, full of mistakes and poor passing, though Rangers got it together 2nd half.

Rangers transfer business has been nothing short of calamitous and they've needed a clear out for a couple of seasons,Mikey Moore is well touted down South and he digs in for Rangers,it's good experience for the lad.

Celtic have had the vast majority of those players for a couple of seasons now but there's a hell of a lot going on at that Club, the fans have turned on the board and there are players who simply don't want to be there. They've got a big war chest but they're loathe to spend money....
