As a younger supporter, to me we've always played at the 'Stadium of Light'. I've not known the roker roar or other things people on here get nostalgic about, the Stadium of Light is nostalgia for me and I'd be sad to see it go.

Seems that more and more stadium naming rights are being sold off to the biggest bidder at the moment.

For new stadiums this is not much of a shock, however when a traditional stadium gets renamed it can make a fair few fans a bit angry.

How would you feel if SoL got renamed in order to generate an extra revenue stream?

Personally, I would not be too bothered as long as it was a decent name, as the SoL has not being part of our club for too long.

Agree with the last paragraph but they should do a fans vote, like the ones who turn up week in week out and give them some options to choose from. They did that a few years back with an away strip, think it was during the Reid era..

Its not got any history so I can see why you wouldn't be bothered, it might be a good thing considering there already is another Stadium of Light as well.

I wouldn't say no history. And the other stadium you are referring to isn't the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, situated in the parish of Luz in Lisbon is it? Besides how many Olympic stadiums are there, or St James's's'ss's?

Not sure how many Olympics there are but there's only one St. James marra.

In Exeter.
