Outside of the top 6 every centre back has a mistake in him, infact plenty in the top 6 do as well. Sign him and release Brown? I'd actually prefer Van Dijk in a ideal world but it's clear we need a organizer at the back or we look lost, Evans suits the role better he's a talker on the pitch and better than all our current centre backs.

In regard to "insane business" I have not said I'd make him a priority in our situation simply that he would be a good player in our team.

That's debatable, Bardo really struggled with players who cut inside. He has torn inside out in many a game due to the amount of teams who utilize inside forwards these days. Even Connor tore him to shreds exposing the same weakness(good tactical spot by Gus that)

About priorities for me fella, knowing Ellis isn't about to suddenly bring in a stream of Players I'd like an AM, CF and a LB in that order.

Can I just make it clear that at no point did I want us to sign Bardsley. He was however player of the season at left back a few years back.

I try to, not one for airing sheer panic like a natural disaster has hit. I have my worries and I'll say it, but I'm not one for making a drama out of our plight

For what it's worth, I thought Lens and M'Vila showed definite signs of life yesterday, and Coates alongside O'Shea is a different beast, I thought was very good, and ****ing harshly criticized on MOTD. Not over quick enough? **** off man.

Add that Pants is just quality and Defoe is 2 in 3 and are things that bad?

We have all panicked, but **** it, we might be half decent in 10 days time, I'm remaining calm.
