Well, that was pretty bad.

Our central midfield is beyond poor. Di Canio needs to use Cattermole ffs. For whatever reason Di Canio doesn't seem to fancy Cabral, not sure why but we could have used him today

Ki has come in and that will help improve the quality of the midfield but he needs to be partnered with Cattermole or Cabral imo

What O'Shea did was ridiculously stupid and cost us the game. At that point we looked like we could win

Diakité looked good. Celustka put some lovely balls in and he looks promising, always keen to overlap. Colback put in a lovely ball for Fletcher but a proper lb is needed

Biggest positive to come from the day is Fletcher is back and scoring

Ji was ****e. Wickham didn't take his opportunity

We need another cm in. I'd get rid of Vaughan or Larsson.. whoever is on more wages. But Di Canio needs to start using Cabral and Cattermole though because our cm today was god awful

And for those calling for Di Canio out: don't be ****ing ridiculous. Three ****ing games in for ****s sake
 
To be fair Cabral wasn't that clever the last game.

Agree about Catts.

Diakate nearly mad the same mistake that got JOS sent off for.
JOS needs to remember he is first and foremost a defender and should have row Zedded that ball.

I agree with all of that but aren't you worried about PDC picking players like Ji, Vaughan & Larrson? you could see Palace was getting on top & he still didn't put cabral on. what has cabral done? **** PDC wife.

Of course Cabral was rubbish last time but it doesn't help when your manager says your weak does it.

Aye he wasn't but his energy alone would have helped today. Vaughan looked knackered chasing back Puncheon. The amount of times Puncheon got a free run was criminal

Yeah. Not sure if it's Westwood's fault. Clearly a communication problem

His hand was forced with Ji to be fair when Altidore got injured. Fletcher wasn't ready to start and you can't stick young Connor up on his own with no support

Why on earth Vaughan played ahead of Cabral is beyond me. Championship player. Larsson is not a cm and I pray he will no longer be playing there as a starter

It was out side the box when it started bonny lad Westwood would have had no say in it.
It was **** play by JOS the end.
 
There's people claimed millions for personal injuries that haven't been through as much pain as Sunderland football club can make you suffer. Might gan and have a word with my solicitor.

Just got to hope that this Ki can come in and do a job & possibly get a couple more lads in, not sure that even that we make much difference. Still, only 3 games in so still got time to see if things can change.

PS "young" Connor cost us 8 million smackers, for that I expect a half decent player.
The only support he needs is a truss going by how he plods about and falls over.

I would of played a 5 man midfield instead of playing Ji pal. I agree with the rest.

Another ****e signing from Bruce. He had 5 windows to build his squad. Once De Fanti and Angeloni have had the same time to build a squad we'll look much better
