Its nothing to do with being Scottish Im more than Happy to class myself as English first then a Brit Every time Ive heard him speak or read articles about him he just windes me up - I know its unfair cos I dont know the guy and never will but I just cant stop myself
Aye I do too. I'm a big tennis fan and have watched him since the beginning, hes a better player than Henman was and has had more success in the masters and his grand slam record at the end of his career will be better. It would be a real shame if a player of his class doesn't win a slam. I know its been said before, but in any other era he already would of won one. This Wimbledon seems like a really good oppurtunity as he's playing really well, and Djokovic's level has gone down. If Tsonga wins to get to the final, Murray will have confidence having just beat him at Queens and Nadal again hasn't been at his best and his ankle problem may come into play. The whole Scottish thing with Murray doesnt bother me in the slightest, our histories are so intertwined anyway. I support Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish people when the olympics come around. Like I'd support the British Football team at 2012. In the Euros and World cup I'd always like the home nations (and the Irish) to win as long as its not against us. Also like Theo said I think hes quite funny in interviews and gets a load of **** for apparently hating the English (a quote I've never seen proof of). Federers a great player, but when he plays he hardly reacts to points regardless of if they are brilliant or ****, to much of a robot for me.
He's an easy bloke to dislike, but I still want him to win. I feel the same way about Lewis Hamilton. And I want to shag both their birds too.
Haha Lewises dad is that age and you often see him on TV perving on Scherzinger whilst Lewis is busy crashing on the track!
No offence, but you seem to be very easily wound up. Therapy? As for the tennis, am I the only not caught up in it?
I have a short fuse Percy as you know, as for Murray plenty of people don't like him regardless of him being Scottish or whatever. Womens tennis is OK if you're not a big fan as you can always enjoy the view if you don't like the game, unless its Sciavone v Venus Williams of course!
Random, but according to SSN, AZ Alkmaar want Jozy Altidore. It says they "need to offload before adding another goal threat". Must be signing someone else as well...
Stuart Green is on trial at Carlisle, I hope he can remember how to play, he hasn't had a game for about two years.
Need a brit to win Wimbledon just to break the abysmal record that the British men have there. So would like Murray to win, but unfortunately think he'll freeze and loose. Either way won't be watching.
best thing is when he went 1-0 up, nadal went out to 11/10 on sky bet, ...like taking candy from a baby..
Bet all the 'experts' will be blaming his mum again, he's 24, should just tell her to bugger off! Watched England ladies play football was quite entertaining game, probably better than the tennis!
