Nothing on Twitter post match yet from the club - is he off ?

Shame as he started well but seems we have gone backwards in the last 3 games .

And as the players seem to be backed by the club so the manager gets the tin can.

Which random guy will we get in next ?
 
Danny Cowley has made some pretty accurate observations about our performances, tactics under our two coaches this season. Given that he clearly sees the problems we are having, could he solve them? surely he can't be any worse than another B-level European appointment. No disrespect to Munoz, but he does not seem to have the nous at this stage of his career. Pity we overlooked Chris Houghton twice, he is turning Forrest around now.

Why not offer him the assistant coach role, no need to sack Munoz but he desperately need experienced support

Trouble is will any self respecting British manager want to come to us knowing they are only a few weeks form being sacked either if they upset the players or go on a bad run?

Unless they want a quick pay off.

There were rumors he was coming in before Ivic got sacked as an assistant but guess they were false and he going to be the manager.

He was talking to Deeney too so not even had a chance to fall out with him.

Well, we appear to have all the pieces of the jigsaw. Quality players for the Championship, excellent training ground- facilities, so for an out of work coach, it would be appealing surely?

We need some stability, every no mark commentator references the changes in manager without actually knowing wether they were sacked, quit or just the contract not extended

If we had a British coach who showed what he can add to the team he might get to stay if the indifferent foreign coach gets moved on

Someone has to take Sarr by the scruff of the neck and make him put in consistent performances without the petulant smacked arse face

Fair point but they need time and the support of the players to achieve success.

I'm not sure we do. We have a few pieces of the jigsaw that we have 2 of whilst missing other pieces. And a couple of others pieces where the picture on the top is faded .

The owners must look at themselves. To appoint so many failures one after the other is rather indicative of a seriously flawed selection process. But I suspect they are all alpha males and unwilling to look at themselves as the problem and would not be prepared for the remotest possibility that there could be a chance that they themselves could be at the heart of the managerial problems.

As i say the reason Munoz was probably appointed in the first place was because our options were limited.

Is Gray going to start scoring with another new manager and will Deeney like being told what do do?

This appears to be their scattergun approach to both players and managers. They have done it for years in Italy and Spain, so it is nothing new. If they are happy to use their money in this way that is up to them, and from time to time it has paid off when a player has come good. At least it is their money that they are risking, unlike some that prefer to use the money of others.
I watched some of the Udinese game this afternoon and it was very poor, not a lot better than the one we watched with Watford yesterday. The current coach there has managed to get them into mid-table, and because they are still in Serie A that seems to be alright for one of the smaller clubs. Imagine however if they were relegated and trying to get back to the top division, there would be calls for the coach to be replaced on today's showing, even if they scraped a win.

Well last time because Deeney had been dropped and then disciplined the ex footballers in the media weren't surprised as they said "well it was silly to fall out with your best player"

And of course the club backed Troy too so really Ivic was dead man walking.

This guy started well then we have slipped back to the old ways.

I am just not sure who would want to come in - I mean from the outside people will think we are 5th and sacking managers after a few games so unless they want a pay off will anyone decent want the hassle?

Knowing the club protect the players and support them in public.

He was doing okay Derby

What we need is someone who has English as a first language but can communicate in other languages and most of all be given a couple of years even if we dont go straight back up AND has an input in player recruitment

How many English managers can speak other languages <laugh> Roy Hodgson speaks a few and Steve Maclaran speaks Dutch but I can't think of any others. I agree that the new manager should have an imput in player recruitment and that he should be given time. This constant changing of manager means that any new one coming in has absolutely no authority whatsoever against player power.
