I know pundits are carrying on like we've outspent the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea but I'm staggered at the quality we have signed for the prices we have signed them for.
We had no right to sign those two centre halves for less than 40 million, much less 20.

I absolutely cant believe we got Mukiele and Aldarete for about 10m each.
Mukiele in particular looks a Rolls Royce - altho it is still early days.
Scouting and recruitment is so advanced these days, so its incredible nobody else was in for either. Solid, quality experienced defenders playing in tough leagues.

Mukiele looks like a £50m player to me, does a bit of everything, can do the centre back bit and compete with physically strong and quick players, got up and down well on the flank as a fullback, clever in possession and as he showed today can contribute to our attack with goals and intricate play in and around the opponents box and then you've got those throws. Good teams will be looking at him next summer.

He is absolute levels mate. He could play (maybe not start but play and do a good job) for ANY club in the PL.
Him and Alderete are just superb they are every bit PL pairing. I’ve just read we absolutely are not going back for Lucumi and I’m glad, absolute waste of time with them 2, Ballard and the really unfortunate Geertruida who looks so calm and quality when we see him.
Absolute robberies the pair of them and you have to love it, but it needs reiterating how PL Dan looks as well. He’s stepped up without a blink.
