I know the Latics and Bolton have always been great rivals but i would like to say that the thoughts of all at the DW go out to Fabrice Muamba and his family at this tragic time and hope and pray he pulls threw and to see what he do`es best playing in the midfield at the Reebok
Get Well soon and i hope you make a full recovery. I know how your family are feeling right now, as this happened to us on this day last year to our 3 week old son a Cardiac arrest, They did a great job and he is still here to day. As some one pointed out above its the Brain that suffers due to the lack of Oxygen, Hope fully all will be well. Thinking of you and your family. May god be with you. At times like this football is the last concern every one becomes one.
Like so many others before me, I am not a Bolton fan and do not post on other notice boards. The tragic scenes we witnessed yesterday has brought football together in praying for the survival of a fine young player who appeared to have everything ahead of him. The current situation appears grave but he has at least been given a chance by the superb response by the medical teams at the ground and the treatment he is now recieving. Good luck Fabrice. The country is holding it's breath for you
This tragic tale has affected us all! We'll all be be praying for him--and Please God he'll come through!
My thoughts are with Him and his family, it really puts everything in to perpective and highlights that kicking a ball about is only a hobbie and not a reason to argue, fight do rash things over which we all do as as it means so much to us.
It sounds like he is making a recovery - let us all hope it is swift and fulll and that he will be able to return to the great game. Best wishes to him, his family and to Bolton Wanderers.
Stoke City fan here.. Just wanted to add my own best wishes to all those above. Lever Malone What a brilliant post.. I'm certain EVERY fan EVERYWHERE is wishing Fabrice Muamba a full recovery. Keep fighting Muamba you can do this.. best wishes to his family, friends and of course Owen Coyle and all the Bolton Wanderer's player's/Staff and of course the fans.
