The 5.59 train from Bromley South to Victoria is normally uneventful spent saying good morning to message board world. Today was different<party>.

Upon the train pulling in I could see a bald headed man with a face lit up like the sun waving frantically at me, it was Kojak:emoticon-0153-broke. He beckoned me over as he could see I was reluctant to speak to him for fear of another telling off, I took a chance.

My eyesight is not good but I could see a tear in his eye, obviously pleased to see me, I was taken aback but could see that he was <sorry> about his outburst at his little mate.

For the next 25 minutes we caught up on things and said that we'll meet up again on the same train tomorrow.

C'mon Kojak, get back over here<cheers>

I also have a tear in my eye , with all the doom and gloom around a story that gives us all a glimmer of hope <smooch>

Having a day off today I had the 'pleasure' of bumping into our old Moderator, the 3rd time this week<yikes>.

We had a very brief chat before I trotted off with Mrs Elfs to Lidl. On the bus back we passed Wilko and I saw super snob @roystonhasf*****off in the queue<laugh><laugh><laugh>.

Was kicked in the teeth by Kojak on the train this morning.
"I can't talk now Elfs, I have just seen a mate further down the carriage, I'll see you in a minute"

He didn't return.

The weekend started well for me this morning, our old Moderator afforded me 2 minutes of his valuable time on the way up to Victoria this morning.
However, I am concerned that he is rapidly letting himself go. His trousers were in need of a severe wash given the 6" stain at the bottom of his right leg, some may say he was wearing ankle swingers but they were so far up his legs they were resembling shorts.

I'm guessing most of us have let ourselves go a bit during the pandemic...

Shorts are not my scene - the occasional football match aside, don't think I've worn a pair since I was at junior school.
But it is summer time! :emoticon-0157-sun:
