Lee's scum, he'd been a **** all game, he'll be retrospectively banned for three games, but I can't see Bruce's card being rescinded. You can't retaliate, whatever ever the provocation, it was a really ****ing stupid thing to do.
 
Maybe cooper or Bradley will be recalled for the Christmas period and sent back on loan in January? Problemo solvedeo.

Thought AB had a terrific game yesterday, he's gonna end up looking like his old man isnt he, the way he puts his body on the line.

That tackle he put in in the first half was fantastic you could hear the impact right round the ground.
 
I have every sympathy for Alex Bruce actually. Needless assault on him by Alan Lee. FFS, Bruce only pushed him Di Canio style. It should be reviewed and a one match ban would be more than fair. If that is classed as violent conduct then the game has very much gone soft.

Steve Bruce reckons that they have enough video stuff to get it reduced. Fingers crossed. With Hobbs back, Faye for Bruce @ Derby is fine by me also if it comes to that.

Edit: I have this theory that the calendar only went up to the 21st as they ran out of room.
 
Am I the only one who see's a little irony here. Two months ago this board was full of people saying Bruce Jnr is useless and McShane should never wear a Tigers shirt again.
Now all of a sudden Bruce Jnr is someone we will dearly miss and we are hoping Mc Shane will be fit quickly.
Both players have proved a lot of people wrong in my opinion.
And we'll done Bruce Jnr for sorting Lee out he was a twat all game and Bruce was close to Quinny for my MOM.
 
I honestly thought he'd knocked him out with either a knuckle sandwich, or a nut.

Or possibly he'd been sick on him with enough force to send him down.

I was getting real excited, it was ace.

I was a bit gutted when I heard it was only a shove, but at least there's a possibility of getting the red rescinded.

I just thought both were being a pair of twats. Why do something like that?

No chance of getting it rescinded- it was malicious and his arms were up, even if it was only a push, you can't do it.

Just what i was thinking,there's quite a few on here who should be holding their hands up. They'll remain silent though,it just would'nt do to be seen to be wrong.

I would like to see more of it in football. It's great when tempers get a bit frayed.

But as we know, with massive suspensions and fines and whatever, you cannot do it.

It's a shame, as it's a man's game and I think nothing gets the crowd going more than a heated exchange.

The issue with Bruce was always more about the principal of signing your son, than it was about his individual ability(there's no doubt that he's done well as a player).

As for Macca, I'm not in a rush to see him back, not unless we've no-one else.
 
Just watched the highlights on Tiger Player and Lee was definitely at fault. Bruce didn't even have the ball and as Lee ran by him he left elbowed Bruce in the face. The t**t even held his own face after the incident as if Bruce had hit him. It never showed the push by Bruce, just his red card. The a**hole knew exactly what he was doing!!
 
We'll probably just add big Adboula' Faye back into the 3-5-2 with Cairney replacing Meyler. No point in changing the team, don't fix what isn't broken.
