Your problem was you kept Dalgliesh on. I would hope United would hire a new manager in the summer.

Moyes ain't going anywhere. Fergie appointed him and nobody will stand up to him to tell him that he got it wrong, so as a result your club will stand by and watch Moyes drag you into obscurity. Forget about Hiddink etc, Moyes will be there next season.

Terrible business. Bit like the Fellani purchase too late.

It does suprise me that people make such crap decisions finacially. United, and us several times in the recent past.

Gives us all hope I suppose.

That post almost makes me want to cry because I am hoping that you are wrong.

"Hope" is the worst thing ever. You have a manager that has never won a damn thing in his life yet you are "hoping" for him to become world beater.

Moyes is NOT a winner. I REPEAT - MOYES IS NOT A WINNER!!! You only have to watch his interviews to see this. A man that doesn't get angry after a home defeat is a loser! There are no two ways about it. It is for this reason that I hope United board stand up to Ferguson and tell him that enough is enough.

I take it your a prawn sandwich member?
Fergie left Moyes with an ageing squad of average players bar Rooney and RVP, and a ordinary midfield, something Moyes wanted to fix in the summer with new players that never came in bar Fellaini. Fergie and the new chief executive should take a lot of this responsibility, as you need a new back four, and 3-4 world class midfielders.

It's Hodgson Mk 2 only Liverpool (to their credit) had the balls to admit they were wrong and take the backlash that followed. United are too deluded as a club and obsessed with media image to admit they got it wrong.

Most people would agree barring a miracle Arsenal, City and Chelsea will get top four, if not top three. If Spurs were to get 4th I feel United will be alright, if Liverpool got it it'd be over. With the commercial pull Liverpool have and also the fact they have a good long term manager in place I think it would be enough to see them usurp Man U without CL football.

Man U have no chance of winning the League Cup whilst City are in it and there are at least 10 clubs better than them in Europe. Trophyless year for them and many more to come. The damage Ferguson and Woodward have done can't be reversed now. Happy Days <ok>

Funny how Everton is doing better than United yet they too have a new manager. Let's stop this "Moyes needs time" bandwagon. Liverpool has been doing that and look at where they are. Football in 2014 is not the same as 1987. The competition is ever more fierce and the less you win, the harder it becomes to compete with the big boys.

Appreciate your honesty and I'd feel the same if it were my club.

I'm a Gooner and for the last few of years we've had fans screaming for Wenger to be sacked and calling those who told them they were talking rubbish 'deluded' 'apologists' etc. But I have always maintained that if we'd sacked Wenger we would have dropped out of the top four and it would have taken us years to rebuild.

The Wenger out brigade have gone quiet now, and whilst I know it's a different situation, I think Man Utd are going to be a few seasons in the wilderness before they regain anything like the stature they had under Fergie.

Do you know the difference between Wenger and Moyes, Piskie? And this is very easy... Arsene always looked dejected when they lost. He would have a look of a man in deep despair. But Moyes actually smiles after home defeats. Dude, do you know how annoying to see that? To see a goddamn manager smile and tell you the team played well when they've just lost a home game? It's purely loser mentality. Also, Wenger only needed to spend money but he was too stubborn. However, I don't think money is Moyes' problem. His mentality is the problem.

Also, at least Wenger always had quality playing style. Moyes has terrible negative flow when it comes to his style. It is for that negative style that I personally wasn't too disheartened when Jose didn't get the job.

So its in no way Moyes fault?

    So whos fault is it?

    The players?

    Sir Alex?

    The Glazers?

    The fans?

    The reserves?

    Other clubs?

    Other sports?

    The internet?

Or was it inevitable that we were going to suddenly turn to an absolute pile of **** just 7 months after romping the league?

So go on, inform us all who is at fault here because it seems you are saying THE MANAGER, the guy in charge, the guy who makes the decisions and choices is not to blme. The guy who the buck stops with is in no way at fault for this shambles.

Sorry Moyes, i didnt know you had literally **** all to do with this.....

The thing is, if Moyes has **** all to do with this, then what is he doing at United?
