"Its usually a comment associated with jealous fans"

Again, I would be sooooooooooo appalled if such a claim could be laid at the
door of your lot. In fact, I sense in you a glow of such high moral principle, that
you would leave Spurs 606 in disgust at your own kind being shown to have
made such remarks here.

"Having said this"

Is it a "team game" or not ??
If not, when is it a "team game" , and when is it not ...

I see you have not actually provided any stats as mentioned in my previous post which was a genuine attempt to look at Bale's contribution to your team last year.

I'm only looking for a genuine conversation/debate and you keep avoiding it with generalisations with what our fans (some of) may, or may not have said.

Disappointing.

It would be nice of you to clarify which of all the seasons Bale was at Spurs I should
be providing "stats" for. I make it 6 seasons to choose from.

I will then endeavour to answer your specific query.

And then we will return to mine, yes ??

Last year in his 1 true World Class season with Spurs.

I'll then respond to your, rather vague and unquantifiable, queries <ok>

So you mean the 2012-13 PL season.
According to the fixtures, Defoe was top scorer with 10 PL goals prior to his ongoing injury trouble
*starting around the new year) . Bale was behind on 8.

For the second half of the season, Defoe scored one goal and Bale went ballistic to finish with 21.
So for half a season, Spurs were allegedly "team Bale"

So back to it. The claim is that :

1. Any supporter who makes the "one man team" jibe at a club is jealous of that club

2. Nobody on Poool 606 would ever possibly make such at Spurs (for all the implications
therein) .

yes ??

yea, and they royally regret it, but that doesn't answer my question does it?

Chelsea regret spending £50m on Torres - although they'd regret it a whole lot more if Comolli had invested the money wisely instead of immediately wasting 2/3 of it on Andy Carroll.
Chelsea don't regret selling Daniel Sturridge: they're top of the league (unless City win all three of their games in hand) and in the Champions League quarter finals without him. Add to that Chelsea have been reliant on goals from midfield for several years now, rather than from their strikers - which means it's far more likely that Mata is the player they'd "royally regret" selling.

selling a 25+ goal a season British striker to their rivals for £12m? great business. Perhaps you should work for their PR division

I hardly think they regret it. Firstly, they aren't exactly banging on your door begging to have him back. Secondly, I think they would more regret agreeing to lend out Lukaku to Everton.

Out of the three you mentioned, at this moment I'd go with Eto. Still class at thirty whatever he is....

37 according to mourinho <laugh>

I feel like Red Brynner's picture really reflects his state of mind.

You keep holding out for that kiss, laddy/laddette.

Yeh I remember that about you in the CL that one time.

It reminded me of being at the Attaturk to see us win it for a 5th time and then being at another CL final in Athens in 2007 to see us narrowly miss out on a 6th.

I also remember us being in the CL basically every year from 2001 to 2010 and getting to the quarters/semis most years we were in it, and now it looks like we'll be back there next season and prob most seasons after that with this team and Manager and the money FSG are rumoured to be spending in the Summer once CL is confirmed.

But no, that one season you were in it and came top of your group was boss too though.

Bit too early to make a statement like this, you will have many more games to play next season and there is no gaurantee Suarez and Sturridge will have another season like this one, many strikers have had one fantastic season in their careers.

Surely there aren't any other fans as bitter you lot. I pity you fools.
I'm sure Chelsea's delighted to have got rid of a striker who's scored 33 goals in 42 games since he's left them. Surely no regrets at all.

And you prefer Eto <laugh>
well of course you would you bitter sod.
