Mouser Watch #2

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, May 26, 2012.

  1. Let's please all keep things in perspective. All wumming aside, without Goofy playing for you next season you're going to have about as much bite in attack as a geriatric goldfish; and with a defence about as lame as Bamby with a club-foot, one can foresee more hammerings at Klanfield than at a Blacksmiths' convention during a national horseshoe shortage.

Without Suarez' goals we've still scored more than you. So pipe down sonny. Well done on your crucial win today, still in the mix for a coveted EL place

Doesnt matter mate, we have contingency plans if that eventuality occurs:

    1. We have cloned Suarez, 'Dolly' Suarez is currently Cryogenically frozen in a lab 50 floors beneath Melwood. (Understand where our money has gone now.)
    2. And our scouts have identified Suarez mach 2. Like the original but with even more bite upfront.

Spurs however have a real dilema for the summer:

    1. Any player worth his weight in salt is going to want out of a club in rapid decline
    2. Any player who wants to stay is obviously lacking ambition and the desire to be part of a winning unit

No win situation for you boys.

PS Good result this afternoon, showed good resilience to come back in that one. And Eriksen showed what he is made of. If he can do that regularly you will do well to hold on to him

Based on the past 4 seasons, what insights can the Poool give us for securing that place ??

I think you are being harsh on Suarez on #2.

At the very least Suarez can compete for the fourth place trophy which has been the sum total of Spurs ambitions in living memory

Well you lot have given him 2.5 seasons of that prior to this one, right ??
And lucky for you he ain't a true Scouser, otherwise it would be "PL or nothing" .

Yeah, but each time that trophy is the "fourth place" trophy of which you wrote, right ??

It's funny how most of the opposition fans think Suarez is our only goal threat, and completely ignore Sturridge who's been scoring at just about the same rate.

It's a bit of a luxury to have 2 forwards who's got 20+ goals in them. While Chelsea, Arsenal or Spuds could do well with at least one of them.

I think the line at the bottom of your messages says it all. Suarez is all you've got that's remotely in the class of the players that City or Chelsea have. You are as deluded as HIAG says, if you believe otherwise.

Pick one out of etoo, sturridge and torres? Thought so. That shows the class of Chelsea's strikers. They're ****

Er...I seem to remember that Chelsea sold a bloke called Sturridge. Wasn't the same bloke, was it?...

    Absolutely right.
I would be appalled if people were claiming you Scousers have ever gone
on about Spurs being "Team Bale" etc.

Its usually a comment associated with jealous fans <ok>

Having said this, Bale did get seem to change a lot of your games from draws to victory's and who was your next contributor for goals and assists last year?
