"Also, you should try watching us play sometime, you might be entertained."

I did. From 2009 to 2013. Did I miss some "entertainment" in that time ??

"I see Man City are going to sign goofy in the summer"

The Poool are a "big" club. They'll match any Citeh wages offer.
As well as the silverware and guaranteed CL football.

dickhead dave.so pool have so much more to offer, because?,City can afford to buy goofy with out batteing an eyelid just pocket change to their owner you can't match them, only Chelsea come near them, but not close enough

Grow up. Life is not all about money. IF City wanted Suarez they would have outbid +£1 Arsenal. As we are nigh-on ensured of CL football next season he's sitting at home as happy as larry looking forward to not having to move!

There is some bitterness oozing out on this thread.

Outside of London there are things in life that matter aside from money.

I wouldnt be surprised if City went for Suarez. He is bloody awesome. But if we get Champiosn League I dont think he will be leaving this season. Liverpool is a club going through exciting times because of good management on and off the pitch. And I think, (dont know) that Suarez is enjoying being part of that.

Tottenham could learn a thing or two from how Liverpool is functioning. Instead of spendingevery penny they get as soon as it touches their pockets.

"Tottenham could learn a thing or two from how Liverpool is functioning."

Debt leverage buyout of a club while you're ****e on pitch is something we could learn.

Having 70m Euros more in revenues yet ending up with at least a loss of at least 40m more
is something we could learn.

Having a wage bill 70% of revenues while finishing below clubs with lesser wage bills is
something we could learn.

Yep, there is sooooooooooooooo much Spurs could learn from you lot. :D

Lets be honest, if the money clubs had any interest at all in Suarez he would have gone last summer. Real, City, Barca and PSG all have better players already. The only big money club that could have made use of him this season as first choice is Chelsea and they are doing ok without the baggage.

"We're not making assumptions like you guys did"

Did we assume we would get out of our group top of the pile at the first attempt, beating the
defending champions along the way ??

I do however remember loooooooooaaads of comments from Sky 4 supporters
about what would and wouldn't happen in Spurs CL campaign ...

Yeh I remember that about you in the CL that one time.

It reminded me of being at the Attaturk to see us win it for a 5th time and then being at another CL final in Athens in 2007 to see us narrowly miss out on a 6th.

I also remember us being in the CL basically every year from 2001 to 2010 and getting to the quarters/semis most years we were in it, and now it looks like we'll be back there next season and prob most seasons after that with this team and Manager and the money FSG are rumoured to be spending in the Summer once CL is confirmed.

But no, that one season you were in it and came top of your group was boss too though.

We will find out nearer the summer if Real are still interested. City?, he wouldn't go there, I don't think. PSG?, maybe. Barca, I don't believe are interested. However, If Real do come knocking, my feeling is that he will go. Apart from the money, the lure of playing for what is still considered to be the world's most prestigious club side, is very hard to resist. Not many do!.

Maybe loldado should do the same? Although he may get bored of having to re watch the two goals you've scored this season

Not so sure his scoring rate is all that different to Suarez when he arrived. Still, I'll leave your lot to gloat, celebrating the top four trophy, finishing above us trophy and whatever else you guys accused us of in the past :D

Your are right in your final comment for a change - you are the past and long may you be so!
