I'd close this thread now HIAG.

Since you made it, Liverpool have improved massively and we have gone backwards.

That wasn't the reason I started this thread.

This thread isn't about 'Pool, it's about deluded Mousers.

When 'Pool qualify for the CL, this thread will be needed more than ever before.

Trust me on this. I know.

You have the nerve to post that when your club still has to live with the utter embarrassment of this:-

At least that Spurs video was made by a couple of young fans; that LFC rap ****e was made and performed by 'Pool legends, who made complete twats of themselves, and you Mousers still list it among your top ten all-time greatest cuts, along with hits from Cilla and Gerry. Oh, and Holly f**king Johnson.

I cringe every time I hear that song.

Do these second rate Journo`s never learn, as if Levy would ever sell one of our better players to Liverpool for a price they could afford. <laugh>

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers reckons he can match Manchester City and Chelsea's success without having to spend billions of pounds.

Watching at Anfield, Borespurzzz strike again, well technically you don't, but you know what I mean ...

What are we deluded about?

HELLO?!!! Wakey wakey!

Have you not been reading the comments from Mouser pundits (both pro and amateur) that have littered this thread? An easy win against the worst United side ever, and suddenly the airwaves are crammed with every Mouser and his dog telling us that 'Pool have come of age! It's pathetic!

No, you haven't come of age, at all. You have merely used your one asset - Goofy - to take advantage of United's amazingly bad decision to appoint a no-mark manager, and Spurs' failure to recognise that it's time for Levy to be relieved of his duties and to get in a chairman who actually has some idea as to what he's supposed to be doing, and Arsenal's general lack of bottle.

You still don't have any money to spend, and if - as is expected - Goofy leaves in the Summer to join one of the big boys, you'll be back down to 7th/8th.

As per usual, a couple of lucky wins, and all of a sudden all perspective gets thrown out the window. It's embarrassing to watch.

Bitter much? We're third which is better that we hoped for. Nothing deluded about that.

Bitter much?

Not really, no.

We're third which is better that we hoped for. Nothing deluded about that.

If the Mousers that I hear over the airwaves came on and said things like, "I am truly thankful that my beloved 'Pool is 3rd, because I understand full well that we're incredibly lucky to have Goofy, our one-man team, at a time when United, Spurs and Arsenal are playing ****e, and I fully expect us to be languishing at the top of midtable, come next season," sure, I'd think to myself, "Wow! At long last those cheeky Mousers finally seem to have got the message that their club's glory days are consigned to the dim and distant past!" But that isn't what happens.

No.

Instead, we have to suffer a seemingly interminable line of Barrys, Jamies, Darrens, and Jimmys, all bleating on about how 'Pool are "in with a chance of winning the title, like!" and coming out with all kinds of bollocks about how Roy Rodgers might just be the reincarnation of the Christ. There is absolutely no perspective, especially as the media is overrun with ex-Mouser-legends, like Lawro, Jamie Redknap, and John Barnes. It is truly sickening.

Radio phone-ins? Hardly offer representative opinions, since they only let the loons on the air so as to keep people like u tuned in. Also, you should try watching us play sometime, you might be entertained. Certainly more riveting than the bore-fest your team provide
