We all knew our England players needed a rest last season but they never got it and the media were so in love with your lot playing super football but didn't take into account the major injuries we had through the season.fair play your lot were very consistent last season but if you had salah van dick out for 2 or 3 times during the season things may have ended up different for both of us .who knows

The cold hard facts are we didn't buy any players when we needed to strengthen to cope with all the games we had to play but with the new stadium training ground and the Northumberland development to pay for personally I think we over achieved last season the futures bright the futures lilly white .just watch us go in the next few seasons and unlike city it'll be off our own back not a sheikDon't buy so many English players and you'll have no excuses for being mediocre again.

No I think everything is getting in place now and with the hotel and the new homes being built we will be a formidable team in the next few years just hope another sheik your money doesn't buy another club .I remember when football was an equal playing field now I must be showing my age but I remember when Chelsea were **** until a certain Russian appeared on the scene and €ity were in the second division
I don't think the management knew we'd have so many bloody injuries! At the beginning we had enough players to make 1 and a half teams.Others,2 and a half teams. Chelsea...4 teams...….and on top of that,with all these blooming International games,some had to be rested.
…...and in some of our games we didn't turn up at all,leaving a couple of clubs an easy run in.
Can't argue with that smithy ,we should never have lost the amount of games we did last season
