We all knew our England players needed a rest last season but they never got it and the media were so in love with your lot playing super football but didn't take into account the major injuries we had through the season.fair play your lot were very consistent last season but if you had salah van dick out for 2 or 3 times during the season things may have ended up different for both of us .who knows

The cold hard facts are we didn't buy any players when we needed to strengthen to cope with all the games we had to play but with the new stadium training ground and the Northumberland development to pay for personally I think we over achieved last season the futures bright the futures lilly white .just watch us go in the next few seasons and unlike city it'll be off our own back not a sheik

I don't think the management knew we'd have so many bloody injuries! At the beginning we had enough players to make 1 and a half teams.Others,2 and a half teams. Chelsea...4 teams...….and on top of that,with all these blooming International games,some had to be rested.
