He'll probably be on something like the £150k p/w they pay Sturridge and the £140k p/w they pay Milner to sit on the bench. That;'s the fat end of £0.5m p/w on three players that are no good to them whatsoever. That's £22m a year. If you burned that in banknotes, that amount of paper would keep you warm for a while, which seems like a better return than the Mousers are currently getting from them.

It's weird how all those teams who have had no European football in recent years are picking up injuries now that they're back in Europe.
That's where bringing in quality back up players, like Oxlade Chamberlain, pays dividends.
In the same vein, Chelsea will gain the benefit from swapping Matic for Drinkwater in Kante's absence.
