id agree with that, he does have talent and seems like quite a determined young man, he used to get knocked off the ball in his second season with us quite a lot, maybe got found out a bit after his breakthrough but he worked on his strength on the ball and to be fair is now quite hard to bully for a little chap.No way is Sterling "useless". His performance at the Lane in what proved to be AVB's last game, was stunning. He tore us apart. His attitude might be questionable at times, but he is a real talent.
Sturridge looks to be 'Pool's Anderton.
That will be extremely frustrating for them and for the player.
i mean its looking like if after this "pre-season" training regime he's doing now that if he cant stay fit then he hes going to be out the door, its a shame if it turns out that way for him and us because his record when fit is second to none and thats even after suarez left.I also rate Sterling. His pace, especially changing direction, make him very dangerous. But I think Alli is even better. Perhaps not quite as dangerous--perhaps--but, unlike Sterling, big and excellent defensively.id agree with that, he does have talent and seems like quite a determined young man, he used to get knocked off the ball in his second season with us quite a lot, maybe got found out a bit after his breakthrough but he worked on his strength on the ball and to be fair is now quite hard to bully for a little chap.
true he and his agent kinda ****ed us slightly but i think football wise his attitude is quite good, he is still young and not forgetting he is a recovering balloon addict i think he has shown he is willing and able to improve aspects of his game, i think he will improve more in the future too. i dont think he has what it takes to ever be a worldie but he is capable of the tier "2" stars in years to come.
we got a pretty penny for him and he wanted out, it was a bit messy on part of his agent but i dont really hold any grudges against him.
**** yeah its extremely frustrating and depressing matei mean its looking like if after this "pre-season" training regime he's doing now that if he cant stay fit then he hes going to be out the door, its a shame if it turns out that way for him and us because his record when fit is second to none and thats even after suarez left.

So one footed though, so predictable. Not international standard. Too inconsistent, one good game, five or six average to poor. Give me a young Aaron Lennon any day. Streets ahead. As Stirling ages and loses his pace, his value will plummet. Likely to finish his career in one of the Sunderland's/Swansea's of this world. Selling him was Rodgers (and FMG's) best ever transfer deal.No way is Sterling "useless". His performance at the Lane in what proved to be AVB's last game, was stunning. He tore us apart. Seeing as we are asking £14m, that's mighty generous of themIt's being reported somewhere in the news that Newcastle are going to buy Sturridge for £18m!
Oh, and Townsend, too, for - yes, you guessed it - £18m!
Some hack, somewhere on Fleet Street, has heard that Newcastle are planning on spending £18m, and the word has spread, except none of the copycat hacks can agree on which player they are going to buy for £18m!
It is Newcastle.Seeing as we are asking £14m, that's mighty generous of them
HIAGActually, I made a mistake. What I meant to write is this.
Toon are being reported as wanting to buy:-
Sturridge for £18m
Berahino for £18m
Townsend for £18m
Clearly, the hacks have heard that the Toon have £18m to spend, but they cannot agree on which player!
