As I predicted (long before this story became fashionable), Goofy has left Klanfield. With his leaving, 'Pool have lost any hope of finishing in the top 4 for a long, long time. Yes, they have £75m in the bank, but it won't replace what they've lost. The future looks very bleak (again) for 'Pool and the Mousers.
Whilst I could never bring myself ever to support 'Pool in the CL, neither would I want them to fail so badly that they bring the English game into shameful disrepute. Alas! I fear, without their talismanic cannibal, 'Pool are going to prove to be a far greater humiliation against Europe's elite than Arsenal ever were (and Arsenal gave all English fans arguably the blackest day in the game's history). It is going to be extremely painful to watch, I predict.
Looking at the going rate for David Luiz, I'm not so sure
Looking at what you lot paid for Luke Shaw, we've been had.littleDinosaurLuke:6752500 said:null

Liverpool frontman Daniel Sturridge went on Twitter after Germany's victory to say: "Not even gonna lie I'm jealous it's not me. Fuel for the fire I guess... One day I hope to help England win something. That's the dream..."

The kids undoubtedly had better options in midfield.
