I don't know why you care tbh Hiag.

Most people would concentrate on supporting their own club.

You're new to this internet lark, aren't you? Plenty of fans spend more time on forums of other teams than their own - although in the case of Man Utd fans this season, they could just be scouting for their new favourite team.

"concentrate on supporting" my own club.
<doh>

Yeah, because that takes 24/7, and I am unable to multitask more than one idea or argument at a time.

Listen! I've said this before, but it bears repeating... you Mousers need this thread; since I was banned from your board (for being nothing other than a superb wit), this thread is the only one on this site that provides you with any perspective. It's your touchstone on reality, if you will. One day, you will thank me for what I am doing for you.

Derrick Psalm: Wins against Manchester City and Chelsea will win it for Liverpool.
(Source: A Mouser t**t writing on the BBC Football page)

<doh>

Do you see, now, why this thread is needed, more than ever before?

He cannot even do the basic maths! £ity have two games in hand over 'Pool, and are only two points behind, so by losing to 'Pool wouldn't be fatal to £ity's chances of winning the title, since they'd still finish a point ahead of 'Pool, if both teams won all their games in hand.

Jesus! I so want us to beat 'Pool on Sunday, and smash all remnants of any dream that these silly Mousers had of winning the title!

That's all true and well done on your mathematic skills HIAG <diva>

I find it odd that nearly every pundit also agrees with this fan's view of if we beat City and Chelsea we'll win the league. Clearly maths isn't their strong point.

Although you could argue that IF we beat both of them the momentum would swing our way, and our confidence would be sky high. A huge IF though!!

Anyway **** that, we've got a tough game on Sunday against your lot. I'm concentrating on that first <ok>

I wonder if we will be faced with the misery of another believably biased ALL LIVERPOOL panel of studio guests at Klanfield on Sunday (like it was when we played at WHL)?

It would be nice if we could have Hodd, Mabbs and Ledders for a change, but no doubt we will be faced with the misery of Redknapp, Carragher and Souness.

Above all, a decent totally impartial referee would be nice.

Raheem Sterling say's he has a daughter, but doesn't know where it came from....should'nt some one explain it to him <doh>,also it's she,not it

Nice to see Brendan Rodgers maintaining the Scouse delusion level by claiming that we've spent tons and tons of money.
Shame that Liverpool have spent about £60m more than us on wages and transfers in this campaign, going by the last figures, eh?

Of those, who is claiming that 'Pool will win the league? Sources?

The TV is the source.

They're not claiming Liverpool will win the league - but all three have said if Liverpool beat City and Chelsea they think they'll go on and win it.

BTW - I think we'll finish 3rd, as beating you lot, City and Chelsea is a massive ask. But bring it on <ok>

The guy is ****ing tard. He can hardly string a sentence together <laugh>

Comedy punditry at it's finest.

Trouble for you is that you've pissed your spend up the wall. We haven't!

Liverpool have got a chance. They've got less games than City or Chelsea. Tricky fixtures, though.
It'll be interesting to see how Mourinho approaches the tie between the teams, if there's still a lot riding on it.
He's not really engaged in his usual mindgames with his former colleague yet. Seems he's already tried to add a little focus to their run-in, though.

Really? Downing, Allen, Carroll, Aspas, Borini, Adam... the list is pretty long.
I'd suggest that Liverpool's summer transfers have been roughly as successful as ours were this season. You didn't have Real Madrid pick off Suarez, though.

I see you're conveniently missing out Sturridge, Coutinho, Sakho, Henderson etc.

Plus half the transfers you mention were from previous management.

I think keeping hold of Suarez was the best bit of transfer business conducted across the whole of the PL. But yeah let's not let facts get in the way ey? <ok>

Don't want previous management's signings brought into it, yet claims that keeping one of them was a great bit of business? Ok...
Turning down Arsenal's bid was easy, if a little unethical. We did the same when Chelsea came in for Modric. A bigger bid from a non-Premier League team will be a bigger test.

I'd suggest that most of your current top performers were actually brought in by the previous management, actually. Sturridge and Coutinho are the exceptions.

They're not claiming Liverpool will win the league - but all three have said if Liverpool beat City and Chelsea they think they'll go on and win it.

If they did say that - and I don't believe for one minute that they did - then they are all ******s who cannot do basic maths.
