All fans have their idiots, and Spurs is no exception. Many a time I have been sat in the "home" portion of an opposition ground and have cringed at the antics of some of our (away) fans. There will always be people in life who take things just that little bit too far; they get excited and simply don't know how to calm down before they do something stupid.

That said, I'd put money on the fact that whoever threw that flare had absolutely no intention of hitting the assistant ref, and that it was an unfortunate accident. That's not excusing the fact that the twat threw it, in the first place, of course.

Liverpool have brought in Rosanna Davison, daughter of Chris de Burgh, Miss World 2003 and a recent Playboy cover girl.
Plus? She looks like this:

Minus? She works for The Sun. :emoticon-0136-giggl

I'm hoping that they get her to do some commentary, as most of their presenters are bloody awful.
I'm also hoping that they don't get her dad to provide any music for them, for similar reasons.

I would be scared to put my winkie in that mouth, the teeth look wicked sharp and the face has an evil look about it!

Take off the blond wig and all that make-up and fake tan, and you'd be left with a younger version of Chris de Burgh, but without the bolts through the neck.

Real Madrid are plotting a January move for striker Luis Suarez, 26, by offering Liverpool £20m plus fellow forward Karim Benzema, 25.

This news will be a huge disappointment to all those Gooners who have been rubbing themselves raw, believing that "Benzema to AFC in January" was a done-deal.

Also, I think Goofy will like it at Real.

Would also ruin Liverpool's chances of a top 4 place. Win-win, although I think a lot of Arsenal fans have decided they dont want Benzema anymore.

I would rather Liverpool kept Suarez and told Real Madrid to go suck themselves

Indeed. And I have absolutely little doubt that 'Pool's Yank owner will not want to sell.

However, when (inevitably) Real come a-calling in the January window, I think Goofy will put in a transfer request, and that'll be it.

Still, Benzema could be good for them. Not anywhere near as good as Goofy has been just lately, but decent enough.

I love this thread sometimes. It's great watching the one upmanship develop over the weeks.

You know he'll be back if you lose against Arsenal today :D

Not sure if I want a draw today or a 'Pool win. Whilst I'd love to see Arsenal's form take a dip, I don't know if I could take the consequences of the Mousers' heightened delusion at going top.

Draw would be great and a Liverpool win would be decent but I think Arsenal will win this one. I'll be happy to be wrong though.

I suspect that the toothy-one will be out to impress his next prospective employer.
