So, the Church is now getting involved in the matter! Is Goofy even aware of the forces that he is invoking? I doubt it.

In Bread (a social documentary programme about Mousers, living in 70s Merseyside), the Boswell family was portrayed as devout Catholics, with strong moral and ethical values. Yes, Joey Boswell may have been a scrounger, living off the state whilst driving around in a big Jag, but he had a twinkle in his eye and would never slap his mother, or nick money out of her purse. He was honest (to his family, most of the time). How times have changed. You would never have caught Joey Boswell playing netball on a football field, and especially not during a Cup match. He loved the Church and he feared God. Not today's Mouser, it would seem. The only time the average Mouser goes to Church these days is to nick the lead off the roof. It's shameful, but that's the way things are, today.

looking at those picture's, Saurez knew what he was doing as his eye's are on the ball all the time,to make sure he handled it into the net

One would think that a Methodist Minister in Mansfield has more things to be worried about and more pressing priorities than the outcome of a game of football. It's bad enough when politicians get involved but the clergy really should keep its nose out - or, if it's going to be consistent, comment on every incident which it believes indicates the moral decay of our society - no vicar or priest in the country will have time to say Mass on a Sunday.......

A once in a lifetime chance for a club like Mansfield is ruined by cheating. This incident should be given a high profile because it reflects the lack of integrity in football which is accepted as ok.

Wow! It would seem that my "hand of Goofy" comments have caused some heated debate on this thread. Quite rightly, too, since it was an heinous act of mind-blowing stupidity, betraying a complete lack of sporting integrity. I take the point (made by a Mouser), that those few seconds could well mar what might otherwise prove to be a great season for Suarez, but look at this way - would you guys still think I'm a great bloke if you discovered that I drowned kittens? No, probably not. Never mind that I give generously to charity, or the fact that I have supported causes such as Amnesty International for more than a decade, if you lads discovered that I drowned even one kitten, you'd put a black mark against my name for ever. Neither would it make any difference if I pleaded to you that "I only did it the once," because the mere fact that I did at all would forever place a question-mark against my moral integrity. Same with Suarez. He might not drown kittens, but he did cheat in the most heinous fashion, against a team that the 'Pool of Yesteryear would have trounced 3-0, probably. Do you think Shankley would have been proud at beating Mansfield with a handball? Of course, he wouldn't; he would have been spitting nails.

By the way, I take no offence at the hurtful things that BBF has written about me. He is hurting, deep inside. He knows that what Suarez did was a dreadful thing, and that there is nothing he can do to defend his actions. I suspect that the burden of shame rests particularly heavy on BBF's shoulders, as it is clear that he is a long-suffering supporter. In fact, I rather sense that BBF, and other Mousers, are getting thoroughly sick to the back-teeth with Suarez and his antics, and having to continuously defend him. So, please, understand that I take absolutely no offence at the vile things that BBF has said against me. They were said in anger, and in the heat of the moment.

As for Sturridge, yes, I am a little surprised that he's suddenly come out as a life-long 'Pool fan. Shades of Robbie Keane, anyone? There does seem to be something about the indoctrination techniques at LFC that causes players to "suddenly" discover their Mouser affections upon signing for the club. Perhaps Gerrard and 7 of his mates work on the new boy in the showers for 20 minutes before he gives his first interview, just to make sure that he sings from the same hymn-sheet. No doubt, Sturridge will be a life-long 'Pool fan right up to the moment he leaves them to play at a more successful club.
Sorry HIAG but fail fail fail.<laugh>

What's sorry is some people are just fked up enough to agree with you<ok>

You gotta drop the little dog big bark act mate<ok>

Hurtful <laugh> You've written worse about Suarez, he's crying as much as you are I'm sure.

Lets see.

Monkey man v Goofy

Suarez has plenty of goals, has played exceptionally well and keeps sticking it to the likes of you cos i know without any uncertainty that HIAG watches us play and gets illogically angry when Suarez scores a goal, don't you HIAG.

Bale has played well, pickd up record cards for simulation in a season already!

Whereas I couldn't give a cr@p if Bale dives scores or anything else he may do. I don't watch Spurs to hope you lose tbh, I know HIAG you watch us hoping and pray we lose and Suarez doesn't get YET ANOTHER GOAL!!! Luis Cheat For US! It is killing HIAG on the inside, his eyes are already the dead eyes of a 40 year old hooker<ok> You have to take stock of your own pathetic nature mate<ok>

And Bale crushing the dreams of the whole of Scotland with his diving (for which he is officially the worst offender in the league)...?

Ah yeah, that horrible dive he did against Scotland where the defender admitted he got contact with Bale and it wasn't a dive. Oh no wait, you're right, Bale must have tripped himself on purpose to get a penalty and then used a Jedi mind trick to manipulate Maloney into clearing his name. He's not just a cheat, he's a bloody evil genius <laugh>

I'd love to wqtch a spurs training session <laugh>

If Luis Suarez falls over in a forest and nobody is there to see it, does he still ask for a penalty?

Did you see the man in the papers last week who was the first to have a hand transplant?

He's been caught shoplifting in Tesco today.

Turns out the donor was a Scouser <laugh>

Good job he didn't shoplift in Iran, he'd have been back to square one again.

And yet you continue to whinge about Suarez when the referee and opponent manager both accepted it was not a deliberate handball and the goal should stand <doh> Was that a mind trick too? Did he also hack the social media accounts of numerous ex and current professionals?

Don't be so paranoid - we all know that his photoshopped pictures them and farm yard animals was esponsible for their kind comments..........

When Gareth Bale has sex does he throw himself to the floor because he "was coming so fast and there was contact"?

Did the Mansfield manager actually say he didn't think it was deliberate? I though he just said he'd have taken the goal had it gone to their team.

Eitherway it's unlikely he'd seen the replays and if he had he was no better placed to call whether Suarez meant it or not than John Champion, unlike Maloney who knew for a fact he'd fouled him.
