When have you ever seen a manager say he would like to leave for another club?

Did Poch say he would like to go to Spurs before he ****ed Southampton over :emoticon-0105-wink:

Managers are just like any other player or person, they will always try to better themselves if they get offered the chance. Their are very few who's heart is at a particular club, Fergie and Wenger may have been the last two but that wasn't the case when they joined said clubs, that was because of time spent there. If Fergie had lost the FA Cup and been sacked 6 years into his tenure with us he would have moved onto another club and done well there 20 years in it may have been devastating for him.

Look at Pep, a real Barca man as a player but ****ed off to Bayern and now City, where do you think his heart is?

It would come out in the press somewhere, it always does. Somebody would open their mouth and then the jackals of the redtops would be all over him.

Pep said he was leaving long before he did.

It's important to him mate. Retired in Spain but it's important in his gated community to be on here. It helps his multicultural engagement. He bangs on about racsim but lives in an all white village, where HE even ADMITTED, that blacks would probably not be welcome. Utter kunt of the highest order in my book.

I do apologise for disappearing last might. If I hope you weren’t to put out?

However, I’m afraid you were starting to bore me, and I do so hate to be bored.

As you take such a keen interest in my personal life, I thought you’d like to know that I’ll be out a lot of today.

Would you like a full report later!?

If the manager doesn't get it right from the start then Utd could find themselves out of the CL and even further down the league, this is an important step and I think they should have already identified their target and and offer him the job.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. All very nice, and all that.

However, let me take all you United fans back three seasons...

Sitting comfortably?

Good, then I shall begin.

You'd just sacked the last tosser manager from the club, and there was big talk about who you were all going to get in. Poch's name was bandied about, at that time, although you all seem to have forgotten that bit in the narrative. Yet there was one person, above all others, whom most of you wanted. Yes, that's right - Mourhino.

Is it all coming back, now?

Good.

Well, when he was appointed manager, there was an almost universal masturbation frenzy among you! Every plastic and his dog came crawling out from under his little stone, gripping his little knob-ette, and began frotting into the trough. It was a filthy spectacle that sickened the rest of us.

When Mourhino won you the Europa League - against the clever money - the frenzy hit new heights, staining curtains and bedsheets alike with your vile jism. Last season, after he secured you second spot, it was as though Christ had returned, not to Bethlehem this time, but to OT.

One of the worst consequences of the euphoria was us having to put up with the outright ****wittedness of Matth, your greatest supporter and cheerleader.

Alas! Our story does not have a happy ending.

Your Jesus has been crucified and there are no disciples to bear his body from the cross to the tomb, and Matth hasn't been seen for hours. The road ahead, once illuminated by merely a pallid light, is now as black as pitch, and none of you truly knows to where the club is headed.

So, smiles on faces?

I fear not, young Diego.

Best hold back those smiles for fear that you may yet be about to step bravely into that darkness only to fall from the ledge that lurks therein, and into an abyss.

Yeah?

The End.

Doesn't matter. Appointing a temp manager gives their failure a scapegoat.

Pros and Cons of Pooch going to United v staying at Spurs?

He leaves Pros:
We get a massive meltdown from the Spuds
They might end up having to appoint Fat Sam or Hughesy
I win my bet with HIAG and he gets Sol Campbell as his avatar for a year.

He leaves cons:
Utd get a decent manager who might make them a force again

He stays pros:
The Spuds continue to win nothing whilst telling us he's the best manager in the world

He stays cons:
None

Ifs n buts....how do you or any of the other plebs on here know anything they post for certain?

That's right...you don't...does it stop you?

That's right it doesn't.

Yeah but the history and evidence makes one outcome more likely than the other imo.

At United he will have a bigger transfer kitty and that is about it and get offered a bigger contract

What's happened in the past is irrelevent going forward so whatever United have won means **** all to the man coming in. Does he have a better squad of players at United? Does he ****..he will have to do a re build..like he is half way through at Spurs.

We have a world class stadium on its way...with 60k plus crowds...some of the best training facilities in the world. United play in a massive skip

Are you still buying into the myth that Levy will be interested in a sale because he wants £££ over every thing else?

It's like NSIS said...the only time Levy starts to talk money is when he knows he's got no choice. So if Poch decides he's going..then Levy will rinse United and why not?

That is very different to the narrative that will be that Levy wanted the money so got rid of Poch..therefore history and evidence to me suggests no matter what happens...everyone is still going to peddle the same old narrative.

Tel me Comm...apart from a bigger transfer kitty...what is the attraction for the next manager? None of this...it's a bigger club bollocks. Pep didn't join City because they were a big club...because that is irrelevent for future success.
One of, if not the biggest brands in football?

That's neither here nor there to a man like Poch who is only interested in building football teams. That's why these things are irrelevent...you think Poch will join United because everyone in China loves watching them?

The money generated from the brand results in a bigger transfer kitty and wage. Therefore it comes down to transfer kitty again.

He’d join United for the ludicrous salary and opportunity to build a team that can mix it at the highest level.

People join the team more likely for long term success (the team with a bigger budget is generally the team with more chance obviously needing to account for current squad quality).

Its why kante joined chelsea. Leicester were top dogs yet he still chose to move to lowly 10th placed chelsea.

Its why someone would choose real madrid over atletico.

Sure united are down in the dumps this season but they have won more trophies than you in recent history and they finished above you last season so actually until this year they were the better side
