He will also know that no one sacked by United has gone back into management at top flight.

United is a poisoned chalice. If Poch takes that job, it will kill his career.

Personally IMO he'd be better off staying at Spurs, he has set a high bar there. The Utd job is a poison chalice since Fergie retired and more so with the crap attitudes Mourinho has left behind..

Exactly.

Nobody has succeeded there since Fergie. Mourinho failed, LVG failed. If Poch fails where does he go from there?

You do talk some **** mate. <laugh> Ron Atkinson went on to manage Villa who he guided to 2nd and then won the league cup with them. He also then managed Coventry and Nottm Forest in the top flight.

Utd have had a mare since Fergie left, so they will be wanting the next manager to be there for the long term Poch wont see that as a career killer, quite the opposite in fact.

It said that his camp have said that he is ‘very comfortable’ at spurs but would ‘listen to any offer from Utd’
