You can set your watch to it now. Signs a 4 to 5 year contract, starts well, falls out with players, Moody miserable count and sacked before Xmas in his 3rd year.

I should have had money on it!
That's not what happened at Chelsea the first time, they only lost 3 games all season and were in the hunt until May and most of the squad loved him. That first sacking could've been the dawning of the realisation that it was more profitable in the long run to win something, get an improved contract, be a twat and get sacked, then rinse and repeat with the next giant.

Poch surely will not go to United. Him being at Spurs is perfect threefold. Firstly perfect for himself as he is under no pressure to win anything and is adored by Spurs fans and the Spurs board. Secondly it's perfect for Spurs fans who love him even though he doesn't win anything. And thirdly it's perfect for rival fans as he keeps Spurs from ever winning anything. If Poch went to United, I'd actually start to get a bit more worried about Spurs as they could appoint a top manager that would take them to the next step. Although I'd have to less worry about United of course. Swings and roundabouts. But best case scenario is Poch stays at Spurs and United appoint another duffer... maybe someone like Wenger?

Laurent Blanc seems the obvious choice until Poch comes in the summer.

I can’t see it being Zidane full time as he is available now so why bring a caretaker in?

Maybe he wants to start with a transfer window and a preseason, I'm sure he can afford to wait it out.

Don't underestimate his ambition. He's a top, top manager and would work wonders (in time) at United. Woodward adores him.

If the picture wasn't posted by Pogba the I apologise for my above post.

No need apologise mate. My initial reaction was "what a dick" and had it pointed out to me that it was a sponsorship thing and unlikely he even had a hand in the post itself

Then the sacking happens so inevitably it was withdrawn

Sky sports just stirring it

Not trying to wind HIAG up (this time <whistle> ... but the United job would tempt most ambitious managers ... the war chest is almost bottomless and the club is up there with the biggest football brands in the world ... unless he makes a complete pig's ear, a manager like Poch would, IMHO (given where United currently are - in the deep doo doo in footballing terms), be given a 3 year window to imprint his 'vision' on the club ...

9 years unbeaten at home is ptetty ****ing impressive tbf.

He was a great manager, just hasn't moved with the sport. Its a different game these days with mangers like Pep and Klopp about.
