Lovren, Lallana and Osvaldo made the Sun team of the week. May be meaningless in the scheme of things, but not something that happened to us a lot in the past.
Graeme Le Saux made Osvaldo his MOTM against ManC. There have been so many MOTM nominations I wondered whether I was watching the same match. Nice to see that a decent pundit agreed with me.

This was one of the few live games I managed to get to, and apart from the couple of times we did not handle scuffed crosses I thought we were really good. My MOTM would be Chambers, a very mature performance. Lallana, Cork, Shaw, Davis, Lovren and Jay Rod were close seconds, and Osvaldo's goal was a peach.
Everybody overlooks Jose, though I thought he also had a cracker of a game. Mind you, I didn't think he was best either...
But that's not the point..!
Osvaldo scored after Jose's tackle on Aguero in our penalty box.
There you go, and I happen to know that one or two people thought that was Lovren who made that tackle, and it was probably the best one in the game made by a Saints player. Fonte does not get the credit he deserves.
Osvaldo did miss, with the whole net to aim at. It wasn't the easiest chance, but their keeper was on the deck.
He also missed a bit of a sitter in the first half, didn't matter because he was offside anyway, but still...

Maybe one of them should bleach their hair, to make it easy on the short sighted among us.
My son had to point out to me that it was Fonte. It was so good and typical of Lovren that I made the mistake.
I must admit, I do have to check the numbers on their backs, and then I have to check who is playing at number 5 or 6 because I forget.
Occasionally, I get it right using these visual characteristics - Jose has taller hair and moves slightly less freely. Plus, he'll probably be to the right of Lovren, wherever he happens to be at the time. Not a lot to go on when watching from a distance, is it.
I think one has been wearing slightly darker boots recently... I'm not sure though. My normal plan is to pester Jake. "Which one is Fonte and which is Lovren?" "What's the clock say?" "Who scored that?" "Are we in the ground yet?"
