Bukayo Saka: Here's a lyric by Gerry Rafferty you might relate to.

You gotta grow, you gotta learn by your mistakes
You gotta die a little everyday just to try to stay awake
When you believe there's no mountain you can climb
And if you get it wrong you'll get it right next time, next time.

You ****ing beauty!!!!!

Select your top three, in order.

Saka...surprised me how good he was on the day.
Rice....solid in midfield, not spectacular but steady...I wish he'd shoot more.
Pickford...for his distribution and the pen save.

Honourables...for Bellingham, Foden, Konsa, Mainoo, Stones..actually all the rest of them...

Saka, by a mile.

Konsa, did his job well. When Guehi is available, it’ll be unlucky for Konsa. I never knew of either of these 2 players!

Rice, only because he played the full game, Palmer did well when he came on!

Next up the Dutch - from Holland or Spanish Netherlands or Northern Flanders or the Germanic Lowlands or the soggy edge of Doggerland or whatever the **** it's called.

Most of it should be underwater anyway.

Total reclamation my arse.

I'm away to stick my finger in a dyke. Don’t want the situation getting any worse.
