I may change this after I've watched replay of their goals....but....and tin hat on...

macca, thought he was solid in the air good on the ball and unlucky near the end
alzate few misplaced passes but most of the good goes thru him
Kamara.....would've subbed gelhardt personally

Alzate- cool on the ball and passed well , although that pass to amorin late on was bad .
Matazo - strong debut at home , nice goal and plenty of energy
Mcloughlin- solid , tackled and blocked well .unlucky not to score .
Stoke hoodoo at home again .
Bloody mangy oatcakes

Didn’t see enough of the game as my feed kept going down, but what I saw, I thought Jacob did really well at LB, Alzate again was also looking good except for the slip that almost cost us, Pedro could have had a couple & Kamara did ok, but that was the majority of the players, they were just ok, none did badly & none really stood out above the rest.
I think if we’d got the second, it would have been 3 or 4. Having said that, I think we should have been all over getting Johannsen last summer, I like Pandur, but I think he’s not as good.

Alzate
Matazo
Pedro

Likely that Arambat would have been in there if he had been on longer. Then we would have had 2 old and past it Turkish cast offs in the top. 3.

Alzate - Best player of the pitch and didn't deserve to be on the losing side
Matazo - not just the goal, but looked inventive all game -good home debut
Kamara - Caused problems 1st half, maybe faded a bit second

Another frustrating home performance at the end of the day. 16 games left to save ourselves (hopefully today has put to bed any fanciful notions of a play-off charge) and it's in our own hands. 21 or 22 points should hopefully see us safe if we can get them.

Jacobs. Might raise a few eyebrows but I pick him for his commitment and willingness to get forward. He's not the finished article yet and like all players, might make the odd mistake but that should not make him a scapegoat. I think he has something and the lad doesn't hide, he plays for that shirt and for me I'd sooner have someone like that in the team then a show pony.
...
Big, big defeat, and we played well, but just like QPR, Boro, and every other home defeat of which there has been many we let the opposition overpower us in the second half, kicking towards their own supporters and we all sulked out of the ground at the final whistle to the deafening roars of victory from the visiting fans.
I thought the game changed when we subbed Matazo and Kamara.
Not impressed with the referee and thought he bottled the penalty shout in the second half.
But not blaming him, once Stoke got their noses in front there was no way they were going to let go of the game.
Big positive for me was Matazo's performance. He looked a class act. Negative? Matty Crooks? he made no impact at all when he came on, and I thought he would.
