Ömür and Morton would've been in there but the key moments they were involved in cost us the game and I think we need to have higher standards around these moments. Playing well but missing the crucial chance is of no use to us, it's what we've done all season and I'm incredibly tired of it.

Tufan - worked like a dog, looked like his goal to me
Omur - super but should have won us the game. Needs to find the back of the net

I know Amur’s my new love child but he does need to score I agree. But he gets into way more scoring areas through his own efforts than Fabio - who still for me is very static too many times . Amur is ALL over the pitch helping and working and never shirking anything . Instead of just looking for his failure to score , don’t understate his massive contribution to the team which is a lot more than many players in this team including Morton , Jones , Jaden and Fabio over recent months . I’ve always said I don’t look at formations never have but I do look very closely at players work , attitude , effort ,technique etc because it interests me much more . It’s technical so watching sportsmen / women and how it’s done well makes it very interesting . I’m not professing to be an expert . It’s my opinion based on scrutiny .
Ffs Omur put your foot through it !! LOL

The whole team worked really hard. Ömür would have been in there if he had taken any of his chances.

    Tough one..

1...Slater (ran his socks right off)
    2...Omur (excellent, throughout)
    3. Greaves (sadly, I can't see him here next season)

Honourables for Seri, Morton (just wish the lad would shoot, when given the opportunity) Tufan, (looked to be carrying a knock 2nd half) Philogene, Carvalho, Jones all had good games.

    1. Omur - what a find he is. If I'm being ultra critical, he should have had the winner when 1 v 1 last night and a couple of times first half he could have picked out a team mate in their area but hit a defender. Still a great performance.
    2. Seri - his best game for us in ages
    3. Slater - played out of position but you wouldn't necessarily know it

Disappointed with last night and hate to think of the squad being dismantled at the end of the season.

Slater turned it around second half was a bit off it first half. Still a squad player not sure why we need to shoe horn players in at right back…

    Omur. Looks a good signing.
Greaves, looks better every week, surely he is being watched?
Seri, cool, seldom wastes a pass.
    ...
Enjoyed the game to be fair and I thought Boro looked decent, especially up front. I like Ayler? ( him from Leeds) for them. One the opposing fans love to hate, and how he enjoys winding them up but his worth to Boro was emense last night, a real leader, and the type of character we could do with within our ranks.
Thought Philogene was back on song, and Tufan looks fitter then he has ever been for us. Jones took the eye too. Enjoyed the 20 mins or so of pressure we put them under in the 1st half in which we scored, and the way the crowd responded, but we took our foot off the gas in the second when we should have been going all out for the decisive third goal. Not impressed with Allsop I'm afraid, he's average at best and IMO only in the team for his footballing ability and I'd sooner see the outfield players getting as much of the ball as he does instead. With the introduction of the subs we looked like a team of dwarves buzzing about, which isn't going to cut the mustard at this level, and that was glaringly obvious, again, last night.
So kiss the Play Off dream good bye and lets see how the crowd holds up on Saturday.

Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third.

    Omur 142
    Seri 68
    Greaves 36
    Tufan 23
    Slater 22
    Morton 7
    Carvalho 5

Two out of two for Omur. All he has to do now is add some goals and we've got ourselves a player.

Who needs goals when you can win the MotM thread without?
