Though most of them played well. Dawson did really well with the goal and also with the one that was saved. Meyler did well in his hour but was probably brought off at the right time.

He's not there to track back, I would rather see him putting there CD's under pressure, unfortunately until recent games he has done by himself, totally outnumbered.
He does not get half the free kicks he should, the refs continue to be S***E.

Any forward has a responsibility to track back when needed, but I agree our setup should limit the need for him to make long defensive runs.

What I meant was he needs to get (track) back onside quicker, as he does tend to saunter back and get caught offside too often.

To be fair to him though, he needs to get a break after chasing balls down, but a light jog onside would give us more threat.
