Ugh. I absolutely deplore at this modern fad of reducing football to statistics. As if a striker deserves praise for merely "attempting shots" - what about someone like Cisse who is shooting aimlessly from all parts at the moment, rather than keeping/passing the ball to teammates in better positions? One of the great beauties of football is that it can't be reduced to statistics. Quality of performance is intangible.
