Honestly, it's pathetic. The first match is usually Man Utd or Chelsea, presumably because their fans are spoilt brat ten year olds who have to go to bed early, and if they happen to lose, Linekar says something about "we should really talk about how good X was, but Man Utd/Chelsea were so poor"... and if they win, they wax lyrical for ****ing ten minutes, longer than the rest of the matches are covered for in their entirety, including bloody highlights of the games.

I love it when they just lump two games together, one after the other (usually something like a Stoke match and a Newcastle match), then have some tit say one line of analysis on each game after.

The BBC need to spend less on wages for ex-footballers, less on giving criminals licence payer's money via Watchdog (yes, great idea, give criminals money, then ask for it back, and then go "well, we sure showed them" after following them round with cameras for a bit til they **** off <doh>) and more on just showing highlights thank you very much.

And less hindsight commentary. Hate that. Jonathon Pearce watches the game live on Sky, whilst getting paid, takes down his notes, then is presented like a ****ing clairvoyant. "Oh yes, Perez is one to watch, scored last week, will be looking to score again today" I could imagine him saying in the intro to our game if I could stomach watching that piece of **** production <ok>
