This is the best/most brilliant/most insane thing I've ever seen - the journalist Simon Price (who is a big Fable fan btw, so be nice!), has recreated the whole of the Manic's Motorcycle Emptiness (Mertesacker Emptiness) using only the names of German footballers......

I dunno, I'm gonna try to find out. If not I'll be pissed as **** at myself for not working the tiniest bit harder to get a couple of extra marks.

Yeah, that is a bugger. But still, it's a law degree and it's not from Oxbridge, so either way you'd be starting near the bottom of whatever ladder you choose to climb. Getting some good experience on your CV will make more of a difference than the difference between a 2:1 and a 2:2 in the current climate.

Congrats on the law degree anyway.

Definitely try and get them to have a look to try and get those extra marks.

Joe is right though, the difference between the two grades isn't that important. I went through a graduate programme for a big logistics firm and subsequent jobs I've gone for have never stipulated a grade, just that I needed to be educated to degree level and have the relevant experience.

Its not the degree or the grade employers look for its the ability to work and learn to that level.

Good luck on getting the extra marks though.

Oh no. That really sucks. Definitely appeal that. Speak to your course director ASAP is my advice.

I've sent off an email asking if there's anything that can be done. I don't expect there is, but the worst that can happen is they say no.

Hands on experience is far better then any grade. It means the company can teach you how they go about things. No harm in appealing to see if you can get the higher grade. Well done Dan anyways.<ok>

Don't worry Dan - as soon as you've got your first position under your belt, it will mean bugger all.
