Did you ever think it could be down to eating a lot more sweets/convenience foods etc since the lockdown, have you weighed yourself lately? Just a thought.
<laugh> The bloody cheek of it.

Truth be told, I probably do snaffle too many sweets, especially as I'm diabetic. But I exercise every day and eat only the finest home-cooked meals, and my weight is under control.

I'm just getting old, Mick.

I'm putting on a bit of a Ned Kelly myself:cheesy: but golf courses back open so will start getting my walk again.

Just finished District 9. Cracking film. Gonna sit in the garden now and listen to the birds.

What are you guys up to this evening?
Reading 'Evil Games' by Angela Marsons on my mothers recommendation. Meh thus far, I'm certainly not sexist but a violent novel like this from a female author just doesn't read right imo. I shall preserve as my Ma will try catch me out as I often don't read the books she throws me.

How's the brood, Good Lady and yourself P-Man? All well I hope? Take a Diazepam or 2 for your back and thank me later btw

All is well here, C. Thanks for asking. As a unit we tick along quite nicely, meaning lockdown has been rather pleasant on the whole. Other than my dodgy Cilla, I really mustn't grumble with my lot. As it goes, I do have some Diazepam, but they're only 2mg. I suppose I could double up...

How goes it for you, buddy?

Also listening to the birds. From the living room, as I don’t have a garden.

Reading Stalingrad by Antony Beevor. On balance, enduring lockdown is preferable to a life or death struggle in the burned out ruins of a besieged city. But only just.

"District 9" is an excellent example of when Sci-Fi gets it right by presenting a story of substance rather than merely being a CGI extravaganza with no substance <ok>

This evening I'm going to bed early and hoping Fuddy will sext with me.

Great choice, AR. Beevor is a class act.

I'm currently reading a biography of Rasputin. And an old copy of Viz.
