Some crazy bitch on facebook is saying vodka has low calories, I said the calories is in the alcohol content, so she is speaking pish.

Regardless of the mixers there are some pooves saying vodka has the lowest calories. If a whisky is 40% and a vodka is 40% it has the same bastard calories. ****ing idiotas

As in spirits, the calories are found in the alcohol itself, meaning vodka and whisky have roughly the same amount. However, I do believe a pint of beer has more calories than a measure of vodka, yet the alcohol percentage of the beer is far lower than the spirit.

Not a draw at all. She specifically said vodka had the lowest calories of a all alcoholic drinks. I more than once told her that 40% vodka has the same amount of calories as 40% whisky or rum for that matter. Regarding the pint of beer, yes it would have more calories than a shot of spirits, but that is just down to volume. In fact once you added a mixer to the shot then that difference would obviously decrease. I'm guessing some cocktails have more calories than a McDonald's Meal though.

 

Fair dues. Volume is an important factor, I agree.

I do believe vodka has fewer calories than whisky, but only just.
