...why are Governments globally so worried about little ol' COVID-19? The flu makes it look like a silly little pansy.

There's no antidote, no immunity, it's highly infectious, and health systems can't cope with the sudden surge in people requiring treatment.
The flu (which is a coronavirus) is much worse...
The flu is voracious by a magnitude compared to COVID-19.
Every year a new seasonal flu turns up killing hundreds of thousands globally.
Every year we can only vaccinate against the previous season's flu. And we do. Hence the amount of deaths every year when the new mutation of flu turns up. Which we then vaccinate against... and on and on the cycle will go forever.
COVID-19 is a little pansy. Its spread and mortality is nothing compared to flu.
True, we do not have a vaccine against this particular coronavirus yet, however it's spread and mortality is so low what the **** is all the hysteria about?
