Monk won't go for one big reason - it would make the board look like a bunch of clueless idiots.

Well I'm waiting with baited breath what Dai had to say, as Monk was the saviour and keep us up.

Zola is still a free agent![]()
We need to appoint the right manager and not just rush into things! I believe the reason why we are in this situation is because of rash decisions, we must now not try and solve the problem with another rash decision. I think monk and his team do have enough to stay up, only because I think the task ahed for some of the other teams are too much now.
It's between IMO
Fulham
Cardiff
Norwich
Palace
Sunderland
despite our 2nd half capitulations against Palace and West Brom theres been a general improvement in performances under Monk. Whether he is the right man for the job is open to debate, i think he needs more time working under an experienced manager but whatever happens its definately too late to change manager now
Well today as a whole was poor and I include the first half in that statement , we scored then huffed and puffed for long periods in the 1st half and looked more than shaky at the back on number of occasions .our passing was poor ,and a lack of movement made it look pedestrian at times , Routledge played some lovely balls into the area just in front of the keeper but no one was willing to take a chance ,Collectively we were shocking and no one can come out of that game with any credit ,the Board maybe with more luck than judgement have steered the club to the where we are now but one poor decision can undo all that hard work to date .Don't be under any illusions that we're too good to go down because we're not ,if we continue to put in performances like we have recently than next years shirt will have a different badge on the sleeves.

What has happened today and against Palace is that at half time the opponents coach having watched the first half, changes things around. This come with the experience and knowledge of today's manager and Tony Pulis. What we do at half time is to say much of the same.
Surely we should be more cunning and change our game plan? Plan B for instance. Sadly that comes with experience and when we needed to change things around quickly the coach was found wanting? Tim SHERWOOD at Spurs similar situation?
The season is becoming a nightmare and where the blame lies is for another time, what we must do as genuine/good supporters is to get behind our team and fight like hell to keep us in the Premiership. As far as the players are concerned they must individually decide if they are up for the fight.
I was expecting a fortnight valley.![]()
