I always take on horses stepping up in grade on a three timer so I've had a bet on Virginia Ash to replicate last years win off a 2lb higher mark. Missed the bigger prices Ron mentioned earlier though so 5/1 e/w will have to do.

Yep, sending him to Newcastle would show a real lack of ambition. Looked very smart last time out and would not be out of his depth in the Haydock race.

BTW - interesting and very good to see Willie Mullins sending alot more horse over to the UK this winter <ok>

Wow what a battle again. That's a hell of a ride from Brendan Powell.
    Well done Ron as well.

The racing really is depressingly bad for a few days now, including today, will have a look at Newbury on Wednesday, then Thurles on Thursday.

The heavy ground makes it worse.

Little Roxy is my last bet of the day and it's a boredom bet which I know I shouldn't bother with but Little Roxy ran in a very hot race LTO for the grade and I don't see why it can't be in the mix. I don't like the fav who won last year but runs off almost 30lbs higher this time so I have to take it on.

got to flag up stan moore's Lady Knight--in the 4 10 at wolves-- the fourth in her last race also moor's won at lingfield earlier--admitidlly shouldn't --but this one must have a good shout against shorter priced horses from more fancy stables...

Some great calls today on here guys. Well done Stick on the big price Plumpton winner, Ron and Bob on Virginia Ash (Tizzards do know when to put the money down) and good call from Rudebhoy on the Johnstons winner at Lingfield with the equally well backed Crowdmania <applause>

Well done Badger, I can't claim to check in everyday but you seem to be hitting a very consistent patch of form.

Strange this last race. A Carroll had 5 entered and has withdrawn 3. At different times according to oddschecker. Wonder what that's all about. Easydoesit and My lord. Small bet for interest on easydoesit.

I'm going through a bit of a purple patch at the moment, most profitable couple of months I've had since I started gambling about 6 years ago. I only bet small stakes so never win the amounts of some of the big hitters on here but for the size of my stakes I've returned some decent profit recently.

I have had a bet on the Tim Pitt horse Hejaz, simply because the money came for it and like the Tizzards gamble earlier its a yard that don't often throw it away.

Little go on Yasir 9/2 in the last at Wolves.

Bob, have you got a fancy for the Super Bowl yet? I'm still going with my heart over my head and had yet another punt on the Patriots at 15/2 this time. It would seem wide open and you can't really write any of them off. Neck on the line heart says Patriots, Head says 49ers, so that probably means it'll be a Bronco's/Seahawks final ha ha!
