Nee bother, I'll suck his cock next time I see him.

I didn't say you couldn't abuse him and needed to perform oral sex on him mate. I just reckon if he's going to be slated it's for doing badly, not for where/how he grew up.

It's Bruce all over again. Who gives a **** that he was a geordie, he was just ****e... NMG.

Don't be NMG. One's enough.

I'm not a pirate and therefore I don't need a parrot but I can start calling you Polly if you want?

Agreeing with someone makes me a parrot? Alright, **** it, kill the Republican ****, burn him at the stake, up the IRA! Or am I being a parrot to Billy now?

Seriously give ya heads a shake anyone who wants him out needs think long and hard about what the future would hold for us if we act so rash now and let go a man who has had success just about everywhere he's went. Nothing happens overnight in football except departures and they often lead to further dissapointment, yes we have been dire so far but we arnt getting hammerd by anybody and a couple of wins would change the complection of the season in a heartbeat so lets not become the fans waiting for the team to do badly so we can say "i told you so" even though some of you already are lets support marty and the lads keep the faith and good things will come to those who waited![/
We have too trust him change is no good at this time <bubbly>

Exactley vince we dont want to be one of those clubs where managers have a average time in the job of 12 months they are never successful without hundered million pound squads

MON in.

Could I ask, in reality how has getting rid of Bruce improved the situation, I couldn't see it then and I cannot see it now(other than a glimmer of hope a la Lawrie Mac), we have made little or no progress under MoN - some might say at least we removed the stench of Mag from SoL, but that is the only tangible difference (not one I subscribe to)

It was the supporters who got rid of Bruce and those same supporters will get rid of MoN.

But think, if I was a half decent manager would I want to come to a club where supporters are going to lose their nerve and start voicing doubts?(look at Blackburn saddled with Henning Berg, who would we realistically get next - Bracewell, Shearer, Holloway, Curbishley, Eriksson)

Take Newcastle, they got Pardew in spite of what their supporters thought of him, Ashley had gumption to ignore their fans and go with his instincts(or Pardew's gambling debts) - the fans give him grudging respect now they are reaping the rewards.

No, if Short thinks MoN is up to the job then he must ignore the fans and trust in his man - not buckle like he did with Bruce.

And we as supporters must temper our opinions(perhaps think of what the options are, see above) so they are not interpreted as dissatisfaction with MoN or we will have to accept the consequences.
