Or you're waiting in interchange and none of the feckers turn up. It got so bad I got a car and now pollute like a ****.Just like buses you wait ages for a moderator and then two, three or four turn up at once.

The only time I use the 'loser cruiser' is for City games. Against QPR I went straight home after the match, well I would have done if I hadn't had to wait almost an hour for the bus.* On Saturday I went straight back to Clarendon after the match.

Is there? Not heard it mentioned before. Sources?Having a pattie as well shows why their is an obesity problem in Hull.

We appeared to be well under the national average from what I understood. Lower than Norfolk, also.
Childhood obesity rates locally are appalling, as high as 45% in some wards, HCC are one of eleven councils getting millions in specific funding aimed at halving child obesity rates by 2030.
Those rates aren’t based on diabetes, every school child in England and Wales was weighed and measured.
Personally, I think they should split those who are obese from those who are just overweight, lumping them together makes less people take them seriously. And it needs taking seriously.
A lot of the time it just comes down to genetics. I'm 56 years old, 6ft tall and weigh in at 78K at the moment. I eat whatever I fancy and my Dad was exactly the same as was his Dad.
I have a mate at work who was told by his well man clinic, he was obese. He's actually as fit as a butchers dog, goes running every day and frequents the gym.
He's just a ****ing big lad. Just like Tom Huddlestone is.
I don't know where they get this obesity thing from for some people.
Thanks Dutch, that's a very good explanation. It's very simplistic, and based on BMI, which has known flaws. There are also issues with people being underweight. They do discourage the term 'obesity' as it has negative connotations, and conflicts with other measures aimed at supporting self esteem.
A better process, and one the funding is being focused toward is active lifestyles.
True. It's very simplistic, and based on BMI,
True.
My grandaughter was assessed as overweight at school. Her dad is 6ft 3ins and she was a big girl for her age (7 at the time). She was also recovering from leukemia when assessed (she is fine now). Fortunately, my wife is a nurse and we told the rather worried mum to discuss it with her doctor who told her to ignore it.
God knows what would have happened if she had started dieting.
Dieting advice for children needs careful medical advice, whilst some children obviously need help, some are going to grow out of it.
