A tenner, a bleedin' tenner, Scottishness is slowing creeping into you.I've no idea how much these fairground rides cost nowadays but I know when they come to my area my children spend a bloody fortune on the grandkids.The wife and I give them a tenner each and I think that gets them a couple or three extra rides but nowt much else?
The Irn Bru Carnival that runs over Xmas and New Year in Glasgow works on some sort of wristband system that includes 10 rides or something and it's not overly expensive to gain entry via that system but when you count in food&drink it's an expensive day for families with kids.
All in all,the whole set up has become a bit of a rip off these days and something that many families will struggle to afford...
