I think Swans are very beatable. 10 points would still be a good start but I will be disappointed not to get 3pts from Swans this season... they are a team a top 4 (or top 6) team should aspire to be beating.

As for which Newcastle. I hope Newcastle-under-lyme show up. (Do they have a team)
 
the nice thing about the block of 4 is....

championship winning form is 9 to 10/ 12 so... even if lfc f up the next game.... just pick it up and go again in the next group of games. don't panic... beat the crap bank those points and you know what... this is precisely what mourinho decided v utd... he decided that he'd banked 6 and he went and took the 0-0.

If LFC keep winning they'll have a few mistakes i nthe tank... so nobody should panic or spit the dummy when we do lose. it could be the next one, it could be in 5 games when we play arsenal. who knows... but when the day comes the real teams pick themselves up and dust of and go again..

champions lose then win the next 3. just... do... not... dare... lose 2 on the bounce...
 
This thread is excellent, especially the 4 game model and the graph showing our progress so far illustratively.

Mods can we make this a sticky please that can be continually updated each game and kept on the 1st page easy to find please?

Mweh; it goes like this

As opposed to

Draw, lose, draw, lose

that's progress, at least it must be since, cold hard stats: points that is, was the argument against anyone who tried looking at the positives of our play at the start of last season. "Style was pointless without, well points" it was said.

Well, we're playing like crap, at least over an entire 90 minutes & getting the points. So is it good progress where it matters wise or a step back style wise?

Personally? I think it's one step back to go two forward. We can play stylishly, now we can play ugly & efficiently. Let's now get the mix right.
