Mitchell left Tottenham making lots of similar complaints. Maybe he's just a "my way or the highway" guy and the club are more in favour of EHs plansNo I'm just not blaming anyone despite initially being critical of Howe because I believe dofs exist for a reason. Interestingly enough I simply realised that we don't have enough information to take a side.
It would appear most people have gone all in on Mitchell, but I'm not so sure given Ashworth had the same issue. It's the labelling Mitchell the bad guy I'm open minded about.
I'm of the opinion that there's no bad guy and we'll get clarity of how things work out over the next season or two.

Does seem slightly strange that Mitchell gets a new job so fast.
Mitchell has left us in the mud maybe?
A parting shot kind of mud or is everything really just fine?
Nah I think it’s just Howes house.
Well he's got his wish and hopefully he excels
More assumptions. Always with the assumptions.
The only way Howe wins is he delivers transfers. He’s successful and he’s got credit. There's also plenty from the people assuming Mitchell is a bad guy and Ashworth is a snake.
This is the thing I think almost everything is built on assumption and I'm keeping a slightly more open mind and not labelling Howe Mitchell or Ashworth anything negative.
I think it's power struggle Howes winning and he's got his wish.... There's no right or wrong assigned to that statement you've re posted and I also stated I hope he does well.

But he now has to back this up with results in the transfer market. If that’s what he wanted.
He probably should have made Mitchell is ally because he’s got no one to blame if we don’t get the transfers in.
I love how with most clubs the fans and press talk about how if a manager has been supported in the transfer market they then have to back that up with results on the pitch and we're complaining about the exact opposite. It almost reads like a parody: "yes I know he's won trophies and got us into the Champions League but..."
Not having a go at you specifically here GG (even though I quoted your post) as I'm hearing it a lot but your post really seemed to encapsulate what I see as a surreal and modern take on football.

This all assumes he wanted Mitchell out, also assumes he is in full charge of transfers which of course he isn’t.The only way Howe wins is he delivers transfers. He’s successful and he’s got credit.

It would be funny, if only it wasn’t true.I love how with most clubs the fans and press talk about how if a manager has been supported in the transfer market they then have to back that up with results on the pitch and we're complaining about the exact opposite.
