Don't you think he was a bit of a scapegoat for Leeds. When Bamford was out injured and Rodrigo wasn't on form, they looked to Roberts for the goals. He isn't that sort of player as you know. He's a busy player with good movement, he likes to try get involved in the build ups. I personally am glad we have got him for the season, especially after last year when both our creative sparks were missing and we were crying out for someone like him.

Not sure scapegoat is the right word, Bielsa seemed to have faith in him. At one time he divided opinion about 50/50, then he got a short run of games at 9, we were used to Bamford's press, bloke gets through an immense amount of work, then Roberts comes in and the work rate halved in comparison, when he started to stop tracking back and giving up, then the tide turned against him, so much so, Bielsa put Dan James at 9, ffs.

Do you think that that was Beale’s first choice line up? I think poor old Dykes has left him little choice given that he has zero confidence. I don’t think Armstrong is ready for this league yet, or certainly not to start. That leaves Bonne, and I have no idea where his head is at. It worked really well for the performance at Wall, interesting to see whether he sticks with it tomorrow.
Wasn't there but from the TV, was Bonne booed by us??

I see Armstrong hit a hat-trick in the U-21’s in the 5-3 win at Cardiff yesterday.
Looks like a good workout for the lad. Nice way to keep MB on his case.
