My link was a bit up & down at times. Managed to miss the goal completely. Was it a goodie or a scrambled effort? (I don't care as long as they go in, tbh). The other thing I missed, apart from a very brief glimpse, seemed to have Bielsa over in the Millwall technical area shoving people. Did my eyes deceive me?
Thank god for that, just got in,i was reading the posts from 3pm getting more & more depressed as was looking as though we were going to get beat & then Ellandback said goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopaaaalll,i tell ya i jumped so high theirs a dent in the ceiling. Phew that was close, but full credit to the lads did well to come back with a seriously weakened team to get the draw, also from what your all saying other results went our way, realy now looks like we have turned a corner, looking forward to getting a lot more points on the board, when we are back at full strengh. Sighn of a good team not to get beat when under strength.Right over to the bbc now and look up the rest of the results & that wonderfull championship table, with a nice Rum & coke to relax now.
The lad was selected & did his best. You really can't blame him for trying his hardest. I seem to recall the likes of McContract, Roofe & Wood each needing at least a season before starting to shine. Don't recall any of them scoring on their CF debut - and they were more experienced than Roberts!
I think we deserved the draw Chesh.....just, but i dont think we played well, dont think we have played well since Norwich away!! have teams sussed Bielsa's tactics? maybe change things around, one thing i can say is last season we would have come away with nothing so the teams character and belief is a thing we have to be thankful of. Preston will give us a tough game as always, lets look forward to Tuesday.
Ffs give the kid a chance, he’s had six months out injured and needs support not knocking. You didn’t think much of Harrison before today either and he gained us a precious point. For me, a draw that feels like a win. Would have lost that every time last season. Incredibly hostile place to go, key players out injured and behind after 89 minutes. Played three of the top seven, unbeaten, top, home games coming up against two of the bottom four (must capitalise), do you still want to question Bielsa too? I really hope our fans are not the ones that put too much pressure on our young team and jeapordise a great start. Well done and thank you today Leeds United, happy Marcos IBWT
Totally agree mate. I could be wrong but don’t think he is considered to be a Number 9, more of a wide attacker that drifts in, quick and skilfull. He could come good in a year and still be a great signing. Certainly not his fault that Roofe and Bamford got injured in the same week and he was thrown in, literally, in the Lions Den. Just hope he doesn’t go the way of Ekuban where he can’t buy a goal, get one and he will be fine. Personally would like to see Edmundson start at least one of the next two, laughed out loud on his debut when seasoned pros literally bounced off him, he’s a beast. Glad Clarke wasn’t brought on, would be lovely to get a good head start in one of the next two and give him a chance. Certainly looks a talent. When you consider Forshaw, Brown, Hernandez, Roofe, Bamford, Berardi and even Shackleton will come back into that team from today, the cupboard doesn’t look as bare as some might think
Bielsa, staff having a go at our players, looked like Bielsa told our players to get on with it and told the wallies to sit down.
All tough games now m8,the top team is every teams cup final and the fact its Leeds makes it double so.
A hard earned point which I’d have taken any time. We did well to get back into it and once he’d made all the subs it helped immensely. We finished very strongly but those last few minutes of injury time saw us battle to keep the ball out as Millwall tried their hardest to get that winner. Last season we’d have capitulated but everyone stood up to be counted. Great celebrations to see us get the goal to remain unbeaten
