Millwall in the midst of an injury crisis themselves. Would be putting McBurnie up top with Joseph on the left over Ndala for his physicality and intensity.

Same midfield with Belloumi on the right with the same back 4

They’re way above where they should be, they’re a pretty poor team. Got to be beating the likes of these. I’d call it a must win too, we want to be in a strong position going into the JTW.

Was just thinking about the Giles/McBurnie partnership.

When was the last time we had a reliable partnership/tactic that regularly resulted in goals? The brief Bowen/Grosicki 'two rockets' on the wings?

Good that Drameh is back. Adds a bit of needed depth / cover. Maybe, hopefully we're slowly starting to get there #famouslastwords #fated
I thought that as McBurnie's cameo wore on, he was taking it easier and easier. Maybe precautionary on his part, maybe fitness? I'd be inclinded to have him on the bench again for the 2nd half or last 30.

Bannister and Warboys?
Reliable? Before they signed for us they were knows as Smash @ Grab, put a black and amber shirt on and they became known as Slap @ Tickle.
However. I was there when Alan Warboys scored two goals to beat Spurs at Boothferry Park 2-0 in a league game. It was ( from my aging memory) either Warboys home debut or Bobby Collins first game as manager? Sure someone will put me right. Great win though, a Tuesday night under the lights. Up there with the 3-0 win over Chelsea in a league game at the old place, again on a Tuesday night.

It was Bobby Collins first game as manager. John Kaye had been sacked the Saturday before after a 2-0 home loss to Mansfield.
I remember it well, as it was the first game my parents had allowed me to go to without my Dad - note allowed, I'd sneaked away to get into a few before then!

I was there too.
And I saw that score line daubed in white paint on Thames South Bank later, somewhere near where the Eye now is :emoticon-0105-wink:
Wasn't it also graffiti'd off Whitefriagate for years too?

I definitely wouldn't be starting Millar or McBurnie. Be interesting to see if Belloumi can start two games in a week too.

Agree - as soon as it was 2-0, he didn't compete for as much (no criticism - completely understandable) with the came looking comfortable.

The City 2 Spurs 0 graffiti was on a wall at the corner of Parliament Street and Whitefriargate for a number of years. I wonder who did it?
