Never said we were good Olof, we can play much better but didn't need to.

But you were bad......... Hopeless :D

ARGH PANIC FEAR LETS ALL RUN AROUND LIKE ITS THE END OF THE WORLD OH ****ING NO

That's all I read from responses like this.

They have planned ahead, but it takes TIME to pay off debts and unnecessary liabilities. It doesn't happen over night. It doesn't matter how much they know about ken bates dodgy dealings before hand it still takes time to sort out. The only other outcome could have been they saw it was **** and walked away, and we'd now be sans McCormack and with a worse manager and probably in League One.

The reality is that certain aspects of the business, including whether or not they are to pay ken bates more money on promotion, are none of our business.

What they are doing with the club is our business. If they weren't backing the manager to do what he needs to do then you'd be seeing McDermott getting stressed out in the same way that Warnock did last summer when he wasn't getting backed the way he'd hoped.

It's a long term strategy, because short term strategies don't work and we've seen that time and again, which is WHY it's been 10 years we've been out of the top flight. Ridsdale and bates failed to plan for long term and went with short term fixes for on the field problems.

If you don't like it, go support another club. Watford are doing well, they are looking like they'll get promoted and "take their chance", why not go support them?

Blah blah blah. Supporting other clubs... seems to me the kids in Leeds are doing just that based on the ongoing poor performance of the club, a generation or two being lost. Current fan base , especially away, is based on fans from far and wide, who have continued to support Leeds through thick and thin, so think on that before you chuck around your pratish statements, check the board locations of members on here too. Get your head out of the sand and see sense, GFH are not the saviours of Lufc, the let Mc dermot down in the transfer window and as other posters have said, it's about profit not the fans or the football club.

You're right there, I was at The Den today and the number of non Leeds based fans in the sold out away section was very impressive, banners from every corner of the UK. Maybe we're even more passionate about the club than those who live closest and can't be bothered to walk five minutes to watch a home game.

As for GFH, where's their long term strategy? They've already said they'll be gone in under two years

Never been to the new den, but went to their old ground on several occasions in the 80's and mostly in their end! Always a fun place to be! Still West Ham was probably worse. The only fixture I can remember where I had to go through a metal detector to get in. Sounds like today was a Leeds fans here Leeds fans there Leeds fans every fooking where la la la la la la la la la.

Come on, own up. Who bribed ITV to make us look good? The 'Wall were clearly better than us, but the ITV presentation made us look quite good. Can I presume that Mighty will be getting the Depthford Lawyers out (Ringo & MFC) to persue a case of misrepresentation??? Sounded on the radio that we could barely string two passes together.

C'est La Vie. Bring on Bournemouth. Surely we can't do as badly again???

And despite many saying give them a chance let's see who they cash in on just before jumping ship

It looks pretty obvious they had planned to sell Byram pre season and that's why McDermott was allowed to sign Murphy, with more signings funded by Byram's sale. They didn't envisage him being out injured for so long

How anyone can believe gfh are good for our club is completely beyond me. Maybe we'd bet better off relegated and start yet again? I just don't know anymore
Because they compare GFH to Bates so anything seems better/good.

Totally agree

No positives to come out of yesterdays game, glad we are out of the league cup maybe we were jaded.Think McDermott has a few weeks to get in a winger and striker or fans will start to turn against him.Not sure of his tactics brings on smith and takes off Varney who was the only one with any chance of putting any crosses over.should have played Diouf instead of Mowatt who got bullied and that was always going to happen there. When he lost his job at Reading he said he wishes he hadn't left it so long before trying to strengthen team, well your repeating the same mistakes Brian.<doh>
